Reach For The Stars is a fund raiser program that rewards your children for reading by giving them FREE BOOKS as well as new books to their school.
It is a pledge-based reading incentive program that returns up to 100% back to the school and students in a combination of Usborne Books and cash or simply books. We have many RFTS Success Stories! We have fun supplies to use!
What is the goal of the program?
The goal of the Reach for the Stars program is for the
children to read, or be read to, for a minimum of 300
minutes over a two-week period.
This is an average of 30
minutes per school day. It is also the recommended
amount of time that experts encourage for daily reading.
Who can participate?
Any organized group of children—schools, classrooms,
clubs, Girl/Boy Scout Troops, preschools, church groups,
and home school groups.

How does the organization benefit?
This pledged-based reading incentive program returns up to
100% pledged back to the organization and students in a
combination of award-winning Usborne Books and cash!
What are the program options?
Fund Raiser Program—100% of the pledge money is given to the
organization in the form of cash and books from the Usborne
catalog.
30% in CASH is given to the organization
50% in books is given to the children with pledges
20% in books is given to classrooms or library
Book Bonanza Program—100% of the pledge money is given to
the organization in the form of educational books from the
Usborne and Kane Miller catalogs. The organization picks all its own free books!
50% in books is given to the children with pledges
50% in books is given to the classrooms or library
